Established in March 1997,
the GIGASTORAGE Corporation is a specialist maker of
optical storage media. At GIGASTORAGE, we believe
in Technology, Quality and Product Image.
Under the joint leadership of Chairman Dr. Chang Chao Feng
and President Dr. Chen Chih Jen, GIGASTORAGE has gone from
strength to strength to achieve full-scale production and
buoyant sales. Our products have also established a solid
reputation for quality with consumers.
History
GIGASTORAGE Corporation is a company
specializing in optical storage media. The members of
our technical team are mainly drawn from the Materials
Research Laboratories of the Industrial Technology
Research Institute, all of them with years of
experience in the research and development of
optical storage media. In addition, we have
recruited high-caliber talent from the fields
of finance, administration and marketing to form
a solid management team. Through our specialization
in optical storage media, GIGASTORAGE Corporation has
the ultimate goal of establishing a professional
image by advocating a management philosophy of
¡§Quality, Technology, Innovation, Service¡¨.
Thanks to our well-defined management
philosophy backed by solid R&D and manufacturing capability,
within 8 months of GIGASTORAGE's creation we were able to
mass-produce high quality green, blue and gold CD-R discs
concurrently. Over the past ten years, GIGASTORAGE has
established a key position in the optical storage market
and related technologies. From the CD-R/RW discs in the
beginning through to the current development of DVD-R/RW media,
we have always led the industry in terms of product compatibility
and speed. Looking into the future, the company is prepared to
carry out R&D and mass production for Blu-Ray DVD or HD-DVD as well.
New applications for optical media such as health care and finance
are also being actively explored. These are expected to expand both
the breadth and depth of GIGASTORAGE optical products and help
increase company profits.
Though a relatively young company, with all employees
working together GIGASTORAGE has become one of the leaders in R&D capability
and product technologies while consumers have recognized our quality as well.
As part of our efforts to serve the customer and achieve continuous growth,
GIGASTORAGE has since 1999 launched DVD-ROM, DVD-R and DVD-RAM/RW products
to provide our supporters with a greater variety of optical storage media.
It is also our goal to become a world leader in optical storage media.

Like our corporate logo, GIGASTORAGE's corporate spirit

The spinning disc that forms GIGASTORAGE's corporate logo emphasizes
the company¡¦s nature as a specialist optical storage media maker; by
extending outwards from the center, it conveys an impression of rapid rotation.
This is designed to remind employees that the company must continue to move forward
in order to innovate, grow and develop in the very competitive high technology industry.
The choice of a green color palette is an extension of Environmentalism.
It represents our respect for nature as well as a corporate culture based on prosperity
through harmony.
